John is a family and estates litigator who combines technical rigor with practical, client-focused advocacy. He earned his law degree from the University of Windsor after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto and working as a software engineer for a major U.S. technology firm. That analytical background shapes a strategic, detail-oriented approach to every matter he handles.
John represents clients across the full spectrum of family law: divorce, decision-making responsibility (“custody”) and parenting time (“access”), spousal and child support, property division, separation agreements, and other domestic contracts. He understands family disputes are often emotional and complex, and he prioritizes clear communication, realistic planning, and cost-effective solutions. Whenever possible John seeks to negotiate a fair settlement that meets his clients’ needs; when negotiations fail, he will litigate vigorously to protect their interests.
In estates law, John assists executors, beneficiaries, and disputants with probate and estate administration, will challenges, dependent support claims, guardianship proceedings, and power of attorney matters. He approaches estate files with the same meticulous care he brings to family files—aiming to resolve contentious matters efficiently while preserving his clients’ rights and relationships where possible.
Clients appreciate John’s responsiveness, practical guidance, and commitment to tailored legal strategies. Whether navigating a sensitive separation or a contentious estate dispute, he provides clear advice, skilled advocacy, and steady support through every step of the process. John practices in association with Allan Goldstein. He is not an employee or a partner of Allan Goldstein, Allan Michael Goldstein Law P.C., or the GOLDSTEIN Divorce & Family Law Group.
