The GOLDSTEIN Divorce & Family Law Group is pleased to have Judit Schonwald as part of our team. Judit brings a wealth of legal experience to her family law practice. Before becoming a lawyer, Judit spent 14 years practicing as a paralegal in the area of civil litigation, where she developed extensive experience in advocacy, negotiation and the litigation process.
Judit now focuses her legal practice primarily on family law. Her extensive litigation background provides her with a practical and results-oriented approach to resolving family law disputes. Judit understands that separation and other family law matters can be among the most difficult and stressful experiences in a person’s life. She works closely with her clients to ensure that they understand their legal rights and options and strives to provide clear, practical advice throughout the legal process.
In addition to practicing law, Judit has been a college professor for seven years, sharing her legal knowledge and practical experience with the next generation of legal professionals. Her experience as an educator complements her approach to practicing family law, particularly her ability to explain complicated legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
Judit is fluent in English, Hebrew and Hungarian and is pleased to assist clients who prefer to communicate in any of these languages.
Judit has also been actively involved in her community and the legal profession. She has served on the Board of Homeless Canada and as President of the York Region Paralegal Network.
Outside of her legal practice, Judit is an accomplished artist whose award-winning abstract paintings have received recognition for their creativity and expression. She is also an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Raptors. Judit practices in association with Allan Goldstein. She is not an employee or a partner of Allan Goldstein, Allan Michael Goldstein Law P.C., or the GOLDSTEIN Divorce & Family Law Group.
